Serves as the technical expert and authority on all Congressional activities, including authorization and appropriations interactions with Congress. Performs a full range of Congressional liaison work. Provides consultation, advice, and policy interpretation to the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Army Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-6, and appropriate CIO and G-6 Senior Leaders and staff on congressional aspects of policies, plans, and programs.

Served as a Strategic Policy and Planning Adviser to the Assistant Chief of Staff, Intelligence (G2), Office of the Chief of the Army Reserve (OCAR). As OCAR representatives on the Department of the Army G2 staff, we provided policy, programming, and budgeting input on a wide range of strategic issues impacting over 8,000 Soldiers in the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) Military Intelligence (MI) community. The issues we addressed cover the entire (DOTmLPF-P) spectrum, e.g., doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy. I focused on personnel policy, individual training, and education matters to include language programs.
