Selected and tested antennas for two tracking products through rigorous analysis of performance and usability within our designs;Wrote the firmware for a 243 MHz Homing beacon transmitter using the C programming language;Re-certified the SLB-2000 under COSPAS-SARSAT to address alterations in the battery management circuits;Fulfilled the “Technical Lead” role for the successful outcome of the MLB-1000 project;Designed the RF transmitters for the MLB-1000, a Militarized Locator Beacon with dual transmitters, 2-Watt transmitter that broadcasts an encrypted 406 MHz message to Low Earth Orbiting COSPAS-SARSAT satellites for rescue and a 100 mW 243 MHz Military homing transmitter for close range direction finding; Solved GPS performance issue during the prototyping of the MLB-1000; Re-designed the SLB-2000’s transmitters to achieve compliance with the MIL-STD-461E section CE106.
