I founded and ran a wholesale pickle business out of CommonWealth Kitchen, a shared food incubator and commercial kitchen in Dorchester. I created original sauerkraut-style fermented veggie recipes which I packaged and sold refrigerated in 12 ounce jars through several specialty stores in the area including Cambridge Naturals, Volante Farms, Pemberton Farms, and Whole Foods, as well as several farmers' markets.

I principally look for things to make us go.It is a testament to the depth of my impact at Localytics that my cat's name can be found embedded in test coverage throughout all areas of our codebase -- from our frontend UI, whose rewrite I pioneered in AngularJS -- to our newest backend API, a Scala app that regularly autoscales to peak traffic of over one million requests per minute.

I develop and design custom web applications, from specially tailored intranet solutions to fully functioning database-driven websites.

Lead analyst for the Cleaner Transportation sector, authored the Cleaner Transportation chapter of the China Greentech Report 2011.Led research and regularly presented findings at workshops of over 50 executives from leading greentech industry players on topics including:- China's electric vehicle ecosystem- Developments in advanced battery technology- Clean technologies for conventional ICE vehicles- Electrification and natural gas in commercial fleets in China

Researched China's telecom and IT markets, via in-person interviews with industry professionals and through online Chinese-language media. Translated and edited articles for a daily industry newsletter.

Developed English version of the university's website using Joomla.As sole bilingual foreigner in a Chinese state-owned enterprise, provided cultural advice and linguistic expertise for a number of educational media products.

Developed lesson materials, wrote, translated, and edited scripts, and co-hosted recordings for lessons on a Chinese teaching website
