I am a graduate from Nottingham Trent University with a first-class degree in Product Design BSc, currently working as an Equipment Product Developer at Alpkit. In my role, I help design and develop innovative, sustainable, and adventure-ready outdoor equipment, working alongside a team that values creativity, sustainability, and outdoor exploration.I enjoy 3D printing and technical design work, during my final year, I successfully designed and produced a working prototype of a motorised paddleboard fin. In my spare time, I take on small graphic design projects, adding a personal touch to my work. I believe in the "graceful degradation" of products, ensuring they function until they can no longer be repaired, which contrasts with today’s trend of “built-in obsolescence.”Growing up in the Lake District gave me a unique perspective on how the outdoors impacts our lives. My passion for nature and adventure continues to inspire my approach to design, driving me to create products that enhance outdoor experiences.
