At California Technical Contracting – CTC – Joe Marino draws on his extensive experience, industry background and close relationships with business leaders to offer clients practical solutions to their staffing needs. Joe founded CTC in 1982 after working for several years with some of the Bay Area’s leading businesses as a draftsman. Architectural and engineering firms were looking to CTC to help with an overflow of work. CTC in essence became a satellite office to offload a portion of their drafting. CTC was able to hire draftsman for these clients, and like many in the industry, transitioned to CAD in the early 80s. The company began managing building drawings (as-builts and occupancy tracking) for a number of property management companies in the Bay Area and beyond. As technologies evolved and the work changed, CTC added digital archival services. Joe has placed skilled staff locally, in major markets around the country, and internationally.More recently, CTC began staffing for the transportation industry. CTC provides BIM services, archival services, staffing and support.CTC is a certified LBE (local business enterprise) and WEB (woman-owned business enterprise).
