I moved from the production team to become Product Owner of InCrowd's football apps from December 2017. In this role, I am responsible for the running and maintaining of these on a day-to-day basis for our range of Premier League and EFL Championship clients. Although InCrowd’s portfolio of clients stretches far wider than football, my enthusiasm and understanding of the sport and similar apps has allowed me to build a strong product knowledge for our clubs. My main responsibilities include:- Regular communications and meetings with clients to manage the development of their club apps, in the short, medium and long term.- Working as part of the Product Management team to develop the company roadmap, organise priorities and manage deadlines.- Agile sprint management, directing a team of frontend, backend and web developers, designers, QA testers and match day support.While working as Product Owner, I have successfully overseen the development of InCrowd’s newest app platform, which the vast majority of our clients are now using. During this tenure, we have also launched in-app ticketing for Queens Park Rangers FC, Watford FC and Brentford FC, allowing fans to access their home stadiums via their mobile devices. I have also had a large input into some of our backend systems, marketing campaigns, sales pitches, match day related business and our client conferences.

In my position as Producer, I covered matchday support for our range of football and rugby apps. I offered customer service support, analysed user data, tested live streaming services and communicated with our wide-range of clubs and partners, which include Premier League, EFL Championship and AVIVA Premiership outfits. Outside of match hours, I continued to provide customer service support, but also liaised with the clubs to plan ahead and timetable future events. I was part of a team that implemented a new Service Desk user response system via JIRA, aiding the way that we reached out and communicated with our customers.

As a Product Manager for the Games Team at Chroma Sports, I was responsible for the running and maintaining of many of a number of Fantasy Sports games that we produced for different clientele. Chroma works alongside businesses across the world, with games in many different languages, covering a wide range of different sports.Personally, my main responsibilities included liaising with clients throughout the game build process to ensure that their expectations and requirements were met. It was imperative to respond to client and customer feedback quickly and efficiently, which meant building strong working relationships with the development team and dictating their workload and tasks. My role also included the running of daily and weekly projects, scrums and sprints, testing our websites and games and ensuring user satisfaction with the whole process. Whilst at Chroma, I undertook the responsibility of working alongside the firm's AsiaPac Office, working on games for clients such as Ladbrokes Australia, Monash University, SEN Radio and Southern Cross Austereo.

During my PGCE study year, I began a work placement role at the largest school in Europe for 7-11 year olds, Ocklynge Junior School, based in Eastbourne. Upon the completion of my studies, I was offered a full time teaching role at the school. I taught both Year 4 and Year 5 children across a range of curriculum subjects, including core areas, such as English, Maths, Science, PE and IT. I was responsible for the planning of lessons and subjects, the learning and progression of the children and maintaining their health and safety in the classroom and around the premises.

During my time with Sports Mole, I maintained a dual role working on both copy and with the images that the site used. This was a part time role, working from home and I performed this role largely alongside my teaching studies. I frequently wrote news stories and participated in live on-the-second text commentary pieces, as well as contributing to features. I became extremely familiar with the website's CMS and this role grew whilst I worked at Sports Mole. I covered a whole range of sports, from football to NFL and the Ryder Cup to the Winter Olympics. Another large part of my role for the website was to source images from Getty Images - who the licence was held with - to use on the news stories and features that appeared on the live site. This meant maintaining a strong working relationship with Getty, following strict licensing agreements that were in place and ensuring that the Sports Mole website was up to date and looked the best it could.

As a content writer on the newspaper and website sports desk, I sourced and produced news stories and features during my time with the Hastings Observer. A large part of my role was to build relationships with the people involved at the football and cricket clubs, as well as members of the wider community. I was tasked with interviewing people, attending sporting events and producing engaging content for both print and online.
