Prior to going into private practice, Joe served as in-house lawyer for American Express for 17 years, including 4 years in Toronto as Vice President & General Counsel of Amex Canada. His tenure at Amex and his work in private practice since then has provided Joe with broad international experience in payment instruments, systems and transactions, financial services, e/m-commerce, travel and travel-related services, publishing, luxury and lifestyle marketing, joint ventures and strategic alliances, as well as co-branded credit cards, cooperative marketing relationships, outsourcing and much more.
