Instructional Specialist: As an Instructional Specialist, I serve as a district employee that services multiple schools in the school system. Most of my work involves:· Creating a tiered system to provide instructional support to teachers· Facilitating collaborative planning sessions for multiple departments· Leading Professional Learning sessions for the district· Creating a platform for teachers to access resources and upload lesson plans· Manage LMS for schools· Review and provide feedback on weekly lesson plans· Manage student learning environments· Assist with Administrative duties around the building (Student Behavior/Building Supervision)· Travel to multiple schools in the district to provide instructional support

As an educator, I am responsible for multiple details, tasks, and goals on an hourly, daily, and weekly basis. The task of educating students begins well before I interact with the student. A large portion of my work involves:· Planning a program of study that meets the needs, interests and abilities of individuals to ensure Success for Every Student.· Creating a classroom environment that provides student involvement in the learning process and enabling each student to achieve learning objectives.· Guiding the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and in harmony with the goals, establishing clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and the like to communicate these objectives to students.· Planning for and utilizing instructional methods, resources and evaluation techniques which motivate and enable each student to achieve learning objectives.· Preparing lesson plans and other documentation as required by principal or his/her designee.· Analyzing data and incorporating it into curriculum planning for student development.
