- Managing Programme/Team completing review/analysis and eventual transitioning of Head Office functions/roles to our offices in Bangalore - India and UK offices.- To date have created over 190 positions in India supporting Tesco Ireland operations across Finance, Commercial, Marketing, HR Services, Property Support, Architecture, IT and Retail Management Support.- Creating and managing communications strategy and supporting plan for the Office programme.- Challenging office simplification plans and further extended scope of current infrastructure delivering a Simpler Office and departments which are recognised as “Best in Class”.- Delivering cost effective resolutions to issues within IT environments.- Maintaining excellent cross-functional working environment through identifying required resources to deliver workable solutions.- Engaging and influencing Directors and key business stakeholders and managers on need for change.- Formed Natural work Teams in country and developed off shore transition teams supporting wider programme.

- Managed day to day running of key business areas - Accounts Payable, Operations Processing and Cash Sheet Control/Gift Cards and Payroll with 40 finance operations staff and 2 direct reports.- Coached and performance managed team to deliver above processes in an efficient manner.- Improved key staff performances which enabled function streamlining.- Completed transitioning of Tesco Ireland Supplier Payments process to Cardiff Offices in 2001.- Introduced new IT infrastructure to Finance functions above. Removed former Quinnsworth Finance processing systems and integrated new Tesco Global systems.- Worked on Oracle Projects – launched Oracle upgrade in Accounts Payable and completed Payroll projects i.e. Payroll Reporting simplification. - Maintained and controlled department P&L.

Tesco Ireland Head Office & Distribution- Promoted and tasked initially to review UK Distribution Accuracy process and set-up a similar Irish operation.- Measured UK processes, simplified and launched best in class solution for ROI.- Managed a team of 6 with 1 direct report who independently monitored and reported on Accuracy Levels of our distribution centres across Ireland.- Reported to both HO - Finance and Distribution Leadership Team whilst dividing my time between this role and Finance Operations Manager above.- Independently reported to Irish Board members and ROI business on quality of Distribution network.- Negotiated with external Distribution contractors on performances and results.- Maintained Budget and Financial Control for project and team.

- Performed review of Euro conversion impacts on 110 stores in ROI.- Reviewed and analysed Cash Office areas including safes/pod lift system and reviewed impact of having to deal with two currencies at front end.- Provided recommendations to business ensuring trade dealt with both currencies securely and efficiently during the conversion period.- Reviewed and compiled retail stockloss/shrinkage figures to the business, delivered and collated stock result reports and dealt with resulting issues.

Tesco Ireland Retail1992 - 1999 - I progressed from working in General store duties to Store Manager before moving to Head Office. - Managed on average 50-70 store personnel in different Stores.- Commenced management in Dun Laoghaire as a trainee manager in 1993. - Expanded my experience over next seven years by successfully progressing up the management ladder. - Managed over 20 stores during this period which included all of the East Coast, Co.
