As a Corporate Finance Intern at HSB, I honed my financial analysis skills, leveraging advanced Excel and VBA macros to streamline processes for the Accounting Compliance team. With a knack for data, I proficiently used Python and SQL to dissect financial data, culminating in a capstone project that I presented to senior leadership. The project embodied innovation within the insurance industry, reflecting my commitment to blending finance with cutting-edge technology.I just graduated from the University of Connecticut, completing my Bachelor's degree with a focus on finance and a minor in computer science. I completed an accelerated graduation, a year early through implementation of a larger course load and my commitment to academics. That journey is complemented by my engagement in various societies and clubs, where I've utilized my creative problem-solving skills, a trait also evident in my passion for chess. These experiences underscore my pursuit of excellence in finance and technology, with an eye always on strategic innovation and optimization.Beyond graduation, I have been in the process of developing an app for sorting data efficiently, and I just finished a Excel / VBA sorting project that uses Mergesort and other efficient sorting algorithms that are more effective than built-in Table sorting. I also present the data effectively in five different graph reprensentations (by choice).
