With over three decades of experience in the game development industry, I have seen several projects from concept to completion in various capacities ranging from Animator, Lead Artist, Senior FX Artist, and now co-founder and Creative Director at From the Future. Having worked on so many diverse projects and capacities has given me a solid understanding of how a project should progress as well as how the immersive industry works as a whole.Specialties: 3D Modeling and Animation, 2D Illustration, UI design, Maya, Substance Painter, Adobe CC, Concept Art, Web Design, Unreal, Unity 3D, Oculus Quest

Senior Visual Fx Artist 1Thq Jul 2006 - Nov 2008As Senior Visual Effects Artist, I was responsible for all particle effects for Stuntman: Ignition and worked closely with the software team to make sure that all aspects of visual effects, be it full screen post effects, particle systems, volumetric shader solutions or any other visual aspect of the project were competitive and took full advantage of the power of the Xbox 360 and the rendering engine. I also provided all particle effects, supported the modeling effort for all tank and weapon models as well as supported the overall technical art effort for Battlezone Engaged. -
Art DirectorAtari Feb 2002 - Jul 2006During the development of Mission Impossible: Operation Surma, I provided art direction for characters, vehicles and visual effects as well as created all environment domes, provided support for character and environmental animations as well as art direction support for the terrain team as needed. My work on the environment dome for the game’s skydiving sequence was recognized by the publisher as well as the development team as the best they had seen to date. During the initial months of the project, I created a 30 second pre-rendered intro concept to give the publisher an idea of the cinematic look that would be achieved for the title. I conceived, storyboarded, animated and rendered the sequence and was instrumental in convincing the publisher that the cinematics could be created in-house rather than out-sourced. -
Lead ArtistParadigm Entertainment Sep 1997 - Jan 2002Duck Dodgers was a troubled Nintendo 64 project that was close to being canceled when I joined the team. My help in re-imagining the overall visual look of the game, terrain and character modeling and animation as well as the creation of all environment domes helped to re-energize the team and re-instill confidence in the publisher, Infogrames, who would, as Atari, eventually purchase the company. -
Lead ArtistTetragon, Inc Jan 1993 - Jan 1997While at Tetragon, I worked as Lead Artist on projects for the 3DO and Sony Playstation consoles. My first title, Gridders for 3DO, was a 3D puzzle/strategy game which mixed traditional cel animation with 3D environments. I created all animations for the main character as well as all in game cut scenes by hand. I also helped port Hell A Cyberpunk Thriller to the 3DO console, where I alone cleaned and converted all art for the title. I also provided art direction as well as concept art, vehicle models and textures for Nanotek Warrior, a traditional 3D arcade style twitch shooter for the Sony Playstation console.
