I am a Clinical psychologist from Mumbai University with 25 years of experience in Mental Health Field focusing more on counselling and behavioural training.I started as a Research Assistant from Tata Institute Of Social Sciences on the project of Adolescent Sexuality. Later joined as Director of the Counselling Centre at Sevadhan Drug Rehabilitation Centre and helped families fight their battle against addiction. As a Project Coordinator with Sankalp Rehabilitation Trust, I worked with Injecting drug users and HIV / AIDS patients. I worked as a Counselor in Saathi for the rehabilitation of runaway girls and victims of child sexual abuse. Facilitated Mental Health sessions for girls within observation homes, and also for different stakeholders like the Police and staff of mental health hospitals. Simultaneously I also worked as a part-time counsellor for the college students of Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College, Ghatkopar. I managed the Dementia Day Care Centre for Dignity Foundation where I not only counselled the patient and family members but also offered learning opportunities for interns, arranged therapies and created awareness about dementia. I have facilitated numerous mental health sessions for counsellors of various NGOs. Worked as Visiting Faculty for student social workers at Sophia College. Took sessions on gender and sexuality for different school students. I have also worked as an educational consultant at Edurussia, where I was a catalyst for preparing the student for independent living overseas.At Soaring Eagles Private Limited I joined as a Learning Facilitator, I conduct several workshops and training on Soft Skills. I am passionate about Cycling and Adventure sports. I have travelled from Mumbai to Nepal by Cycle. I love interacting and experimentation in life.
