1986 till 1990: active in textielindustrie...wrong choice! Everybody makes mistakes?!1991 till now: Volvo Car Gent: from zero to ... IE B-shop...and beyond. Starting as blue collar on Esdic, on to GC trim B in 1993. After re-education in 1996: Volvo technician in B-shop for BSS-robots and ML-installation.2002 moved to Engineering as member of the greenfield New ECG-team in the Skovde-organization as responsible engineer for balancing the +-32 workstations, including the MFace, nutrunners, production systems,... bit of everything, working closely together with the guys of maintenance for further developments...fe. 6Tools4Cools ! End of 2008, moving (back) to VCG ME as PLC-engineer for the introduction of NGIDS in VCG. 2009 appointed ME B-shop as coördinating engineer PLC-group. Installation of RFID-readers, camera-controls, PickToLight,...2014: member of the new IE-department in B-shop, responsible for the sealing-area (coming home?) and inspection+polishing+repair activities.2016: intro new polishing method GB2; Blue Belt-certified (level between official black and green belt).2017: study finished and intro of general method for "sanding & polishing after spot-repair"...2017: study finished "lighting" for inspection tunnels. Starting from the EOL T8-fluorescent and searching for LED-luminaires, respecting & improving the Volvo standards. "Adriane, we did it"!2018: introduction of new type of light tunnels in paint shop (to be executed by other department). 1-step sanding & polishing: challenge the current method to improve Q, D and C2019: introduction of the new polishing process, using Visomax 24VDC orbital polishers2020 - 2022: Post corona ~ Additional workload (extra zones) and follow-up of several projects is getting "too much to handle".2022: "Power independent polishing carts". Power banks (with 230VAC output) replacing the complex and EOL 230VAC power supply. 1 charged battery lasts 3 days. Marvelous improvement for efficiency and flexibility.Half October: my personal battery is worn out. "Crash-boom-bang" out for a month!Half November, moved to other department in B-shop as "supporting engineer" for deep analysis of recurring quality-issues...New manager with new vision: "pick your battle". Solve 1 issue before starting something else! 2024 may new task: as BO (data & analyzing) stops end of 2024, all existing reports need to be set up in "Power Bi".Volvo4Ever?!
