The combination of degrees in engineering and finance in both the water and financing sectors provide the bridge between what is often different worlds He has worked for the Government of Namibia as a water engineer , as town engineer,an engineering consulting firm, a NGO and in the private sector giving a wide perspective He has experience as an executive general manager of the Development Bank of Southern Africa ,where he build up the urban infrastructure division ,and was the founder and managing director of INCA from 1984-1994. INCA (Infrastructure Finance Corporation) is a private intermediary specialising in infrastructure finance by issuing corporate bonds in the local and international market and on lending at risk to municipalities and water boards . During this period Inca with a municipal market penetration of 35% was awarded the best non listed company award and Johan awarded as one of the top 100 managers in South Africa.After retiring from INCA he started Afcapconsulting.
