I provided the operational and strategic direction to maximise the recovery return on all delinquent accounts handed over for collection to External Debt Collecting Companies. This included all outsourced collections in South Africa and foreign portfolios as well as the management of the entire debt review process and yearly debt sale transactions.My main functions included the following:1.) To optimise the Recoveries Department by aligning objectives to the overall Net Bad Debt Strategy of the Organisation. 2.) Ensure the delivery of the operational key performance metrics and optimise financial efficiencies by managing expenses within the required budget and projection expectations. 3.) To ensure that all Debt Collecting Companies comply with both legislative and Organisation regulations.6.)
