Responsible for managing large security training projects, I designed and delivered accredited vocational security training to large groups of security personnel across multiple disciplines; training in excess of 80,000 security officers.• Designed and implemented an electronic training management administration system • Designed training curriculums and secured accreditation through the South African Qualification Framework (NQF)• Managed the business financials, logistics, and day-to-day operations• Led, motivated and developed human resources; providing one-on-one coaching, guidance and mentorship• Drove all marketing, sales and client relations activities and established favourable stakeholder relationships• Implemented tax incentive programmes based on training rebates for several companies.Key Achievements:• Trained more than 80,000 security officers over a period of 6 years.• Secured a contract to recruit and train all armed response security personnel for Chubb, a pioneer and global leader in security services and solutions. The contract included 3-monthly refresher training for each of the 1,200 armed response officers, equating to 5,000 per annum.• Secured a contract to recruit and train 7,250 event security officers for the 2010 World Cup Soccer event, meeting a challenging timeline of only 8 weeks.• Trained and certified a large number of security officers on two accredited national qualifications (General Security Practices and Specialist Security Practitioner), both of which were 1-year training programmes.• Managed the entire screening, selection and recruitment of Chubb armed response officers and contributed towards the reduction of company personnel attrition from 43% per annum to approximately 20% per annum.
