Johan Smit obtained his B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering (with honours) at the University of Pretoria in 1992 and over the intervening 25 plus years, has had significant involvement in a variety of multi-disciplinary design and construction projects across Africa, which have most notably included directing of several major mine upgrades. His key area of expertise lies in directing, developing, growing and marketing multidisciplinary design and project execution companies. He is also adept in all aspects of discipline design, project management, contract management (EPCM, EPC and others), site management, commissioning services, cost estimating and control, feasibility studies, planning and design management.
