About Johan Winnubst

Currently working on developing a next generation brain mapping technology in order to make the mammalian connectome a reality! Previously I was the scientific lead on the Mouselight project that published the first database of >1000 completely reconstructed neurons in the mouse brain (https://ml-neuronbrowser.janelia.org/). Other work included developing new soft,- and hardware solutions for the long-term imaging of neuronal activity in the hippocampus as mice were learning a memory and generalization task. Besides learning about the functioning of the brain in health and disease I have worked on translating all these insights into novel AGI models.
