As team leader in the Customer Verification (CV) team, my role was mainly built around the leading and supporting of the team members in the operational aspects of the day-to-day work. This meant coordination and tactical disposition of the resources and people within the team, prioritization of test areas, keeping track of the backlogs, administrating tasks and test missions in JIRA, filling in test reports etc. Among the tasks was also representing the team in various constellations such as issue triage-, test lead meetings etc.In addition to the above, a major task was the starting up and managing of a project involving a group of student consultants closely tied to the team. This work involved everything ranging from handling interviews and bookings to educating the students in our products and ways of working as well as guiding them in their tasks.In the broader context the role involves serving as an information- and communications bridge between CV and other test- and development teams, with the overall aim to provide a basis for better efficiency in the development work.
