• Develope an electrokinetic DLD device to sort nano bio-particles• Simulate electrokinetics and microfludics using finite element method with COMSOL• Support other researchers on electrokinetics

• Main project: “Combining electric field with Deterministic Lateral Displacement (electrokinetic DLD) to sort bio-particles based on size and surface charge”. • Involved in other projects: - Separation of bacteria by chain length with Deterministic Lateral Displacement (DLD). - Open channel DLD (DLD without sealing). - Active posts DLD (electrokinetic DLD with metal electrodes).• Other activities: initiated one research collaboration, supervised course project(master level), designed and advised gymnasium diploma projects and outreach projects.• Acquired competence in microfludics,microfabrication, fluorescence microscopy, FEM simulation, and hands on experience with biological samples (bacteria, yeast, liposomes, red blood cells, fat cells)

• Characterized and tested auto-focus lens (breakdown voltage, leakage current, transmittance)• Made and tested SMT electronic circuit boards• Organized and sorted electronic components, devices, and apparatus.
