  As a technical author with MRI Software (formerly Qube Global Software) my primary focus has been on helping our users to gain the most commercial benefit from using our software. My role involves creating, organising and presenting clear, accurate and concise technical documentation and promotional content. Subjects of these cover a wide range of software applications, for a variety of audiences, from customers to colleagues spanning non-technical end users, super-users and technical/IT support people. My role involves working at all levels in the organisation, collaborating with developers, project managers, trainers, support technicians, sales/marketing specialists and senior stakeholders. I author, review and maintain a wide range of technical and non-technical content, such as training guides, tutorials, bite-sized learning tools, installation/configuration guides, technical journal articles, knowledge articles, help content, software release highlights, hints and tips, learning and development brochures, customer case studies, blog articles, promotional materials and more. Our materials are consumed via many platforms – the web, our customer wiki, a SharePoint document repository, through email communication campaigns, etc. I also manage our documentation processes and nurture best-practice techniques throughout the organisation.
