Stack and database programming using C# ASP.NET, SQL Server, ETL using SSIS and reporting using SSRS web services. I maintained this stack for 20 years for SEC / CEFA and NR - APC: Rapid-response app, managed all comms between NR control, engineers and examiners with full audit trail, APC created a report template, submitted to NR on completion as pdf with XML metadata files. - DCP ALARM2: Extracted 20 years of exam and defect data using Stored Procedures, Views, SSIS, Transformed data using VS 2022 .NET Core and SSIS to ALARM2 ERM entity spec for colleague to Load. - ADIP (Asset Data Integration Project): Asset data was extracted from several NR Access dbs, into a single new SQL Server db. Front end provided. Data combined with exam data. NR staff used ADIP to add element, BCMI and GPS data and view SSRS exam reports (for CSAMS)- Quartz - Train lateness annotation software for Train Operating Companies We processed signal data, wrangled it in Python & PostgreSQL, displayed lateness data & statistics to the TOC client as a web and mobile app. Prepared and presented Sprint reviews to clients and hosted the weekly BAU in DevOps. Upgraded codebase from Python 3.7 to 3.9, added many stations and depots to the database and App, including the entire Elizabeth Line, which started running services in May 2022- Digital Twins: I recently did an investigation into NVIDIA Omniverse, to see if it was suitable for use on our Forth Road Bridge contract in Edinburgh. Worked on a 3D digital twin model, which would graphically show stress from traffic and wind, using real-time sensor data streams

Written in VB6 and SQL Server. - Converted slow parts pick row-by-row insert to bulk insert, speeding up ingress ~ half an hour to a couple of seconds Created: - Sql Server backend - UI to display parts picking status on a large monitor in the Toyota Warehouse at Lutterworth - Barcode label printing software for every part - Barcode scanning software for our staff to scan parts on to our lorry fleet - Comms system, liaising with Codeway built handheld system via Transcomm radio network to monitor delivery/return of parts to dealerships. Packet data was zipped with bespoke PK ZIP compression module, split it into 544Kb packets, headers added and send/receive system protocol using Ak/Nak system, a prototype message broker comms system - UI to display fleet progress across all 40 UK routes
