Responsible for Nordic Business Development within Canon's Professional Imaging Products.

Scope of position:Business development within the Canon Imaging group with focus on a more commercial approach to the consumer and Pro markets.Key responsibilities:Product life cycle management, product positioning, promotion and marketing planning.In addition, planning and implementing local and nordic channel approach strategies and account planning in co-operation with Canon Europe and the Nordic regions.Other responsibilities include product budgeting, fund management, sales and promotion planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, technical and business support for key accounts and the sales force as well as event support and press relations. I contribute to the improvement of the forecast accuracy by delivering the specific product expertise and by providing product planning visibility.Special focus areas:Danish Professional business including business upstart of Canon’s Pro Video business, identifying new business development opportunities ie. Pro print, projectors and lenses and creation and implementation of a Go to market plan in co-operation with the local team.Results:Second to none, Canon Denmark’s Imaging product group results measured in terms of budget and market share performance, has been and still is, amongst the highest in Europe. Presently, our System camera, Compact camera and video products are in a no. 1 positon.

Scope of position:Nordic and regional specialist role: Nordic responsibility for the Compact camera group and local responsibility for Digital SLR, Video, Surveillance and Pro-business. Key responsibilities:Responsible for Nordic product strategies implemented in each country by local product managers.Representation of the Nordic region in Canon Europe to influence decisions in favour of maximising business in the Nordics. Negotiation of investments and budgets for the Nordic region. Creation of the Nordic Product Marketing plan and analysis of market and channel data.Besides this, Product lifecycle planning, creation and implemention product positioning strategies, channel approach strategies and Nordic forecasting. Results:Developed Nordic product business planning including product performance tracking, market and competitor development tracking, product life cycle planning, product positioning tactics, product ranging and channel strategies. In addition, contributed to the development of account plans for given account clusters to ensure implementation and execution of Nordic product plans and by that, securing business objectives for the product groups.The product groups I managed ranked amongst the higest in Europe in terms of Market share.
