Working within the strategic sector with customer controlled supply chain to ensure material is cost effective for the customer and Jabil. Over the past 3 years the customer supply base has been predominantly based in Germany. Travelling to the customer supply base and engaging in contracts to ensure an easy transition of the supply chain, has been key. Building relationships with the supplier to ensure trust has been a major factor. Within this role I have also work closely with local suppliers to provide a more cost effective alternative for the customer.Key responsibilities:• Monitoring and eliminating disconnects between material supply and requirements. • Reviewing the daily/weekly shortage reports and effectively working to resolve any issues within the supply chain to ensure material is available on time. • Driving down the overall cost of materials, including component pricing, freight expenses, admin expenses, inventory and materials liability, transformation cost/materials margin/E&O exposure. • Use of timely and accurate execution of MRP through Purchase Requisitions or Purchase Orders. • Driving lean principals, where appropriate, into the supply-chain.

Key responsibilities:• Controlling and managing the day-to-day activities within the IC Group. • Overseeing a team of 25 personnel over a 3 shift basis. • Generating key metrics for managerial meetings. • Taking Control of any WIP related problems and bring to a quick and satisfactory conclusion. • Developing and encouraging goals & Objectives to all employees. • Managing the holiday Rota so cover is provided to all work cells at all times. • Dealing with any Disciplinary issues directly and carry out individuals appraisals

Key responsibilities:• Overseeing the daily running of the materials department.• Generating and amending data received from cycle count analysis sheets. • Generating reports for management meetings and arranging materials for export worldwide. • Liaising with our Quality and Finance dept’s to arrange what materials have to be scrapped within the M.R.B system. • Controlling a stock turnover of 5 million pounds. • Scheduling of Raw materials with vendors • Planning production Output. • Receiving customer orders tracking through until final shipment.

Key responsibilities:• Supplying service parts with 5-year expiry date worldwide. • Liaising with European service centers. • Ordering direct both local and world-wide. • Pricing of service parts. • Establishing parts for service.• Creating and issuing service notes to the engineering dept.

Key Responsibilities:• Setting up S.O.P’s within the warehouse. • Carrying out cycle counts within a BPCS system. • Receiving materials from a clean room environment, Issuing materials to four clean rooms using FIFO system (first in first out). • Picking parts for export, loading / unloading containers.
