- A vastly experienced Communications and Informations Systems (CIS) manager with over 35 years of military service, 20+ years as a Senior Non Commissioned Officer, having served on a variety of Royal Navy warships, shoreside establishments, either deployed globally or in static locations between 1989 amd to present day.- Primarily responsible for managing the fulfilment of Information Exchange Requirements (IERs), Services Delivery Management (SDM), and implementation of specified CIS/ICT, application services, in support of mission specific needs and essential C2 connectivity with both national and coalition partners.- Maintaining the operational capability of these complex systems through the direct management and support of local ICT helpdesks, liaising and escalating accordingly with external authorities if incident and or problem cannot be resolved internally.- Knowledge and skills that were further enhanced between 2011-2024 having successfully fufilled assignments at five NATO Command/Force structure HQs (JFC Naples/STRIKFORNATO) and at NCIA CSU Northwood (for HQ MARCOM). - The later postings whose varying roles, further assisted in my own personal and professional developement as a proven Project Manager, Change Manager, Service Delivery Manager and Customer Relationship Manager, gaining NATO wide recognition as a trusted go to C2 CIS SME, capable of managing, coordinating and communicating tasks to teams of technicians to ensure that the end state needs are met. - Example: Successfully managed, lead, coordinated and implemented multiple (60+) Standing Naval Forces Flagship C2 CIS operational handovers.- Managed, lead, coordinated and implemented multiple (30+) other maritime deployable C2 CIS system installations and set to work requirements in accordance with the customers needs.- Managed, lead, coordinated and implemented the C2 CIS architecture and IERs for multiple annual national/NATO exercises and operational requirements.- Requirements that have been fufilled in geographical locations across the globe.Specialties: IT Administration & Management, Change Management, Project Management, Customer Relationship Management, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Database and Network security, Radio Frequency Spectrum Management, Maritime Communictions Information Systems, Mentoring & Advising, COMSEC, Information Exchange Requirements, Deployable Communications Information Systems, Leadership & Line Management, Problem solving & Adaptability.
