I have 15 years experience in Geotechnical, Geo-Environmental and Geological industries. I have previously specialised in Project Management of large scale Phase 2 Ground Investigations & have significant experience of on & off-site management of technically & logistically challenging projects including large scale investigations for major tunnel projects and a number of large residential and infrastructure project investigations for major Clients. My current role is managing a team of five Engineers from graduate to 5 year+ experience level within the Birmingham office of Patrick Parsons, where we undertake a wide range of Phase I, Phase 2, Remediation, Validation and Earthworks projects for a wide range of Clients across the public and private residential, and industrial sectors. I have a particular interest in sites affected by the UK's, and the Black County in particular, coal mining legacy issues, and have engineered a number of social and private residential, as well as industrial schemes with challenging coal mining constraints. Over the last 12-24 months I have extended my interactions with local authority regulators and Clients, building relationships which have provided beneficial and cost effective solutions to remediation projects. I undertake a significant amount of bidding activities and prepare fee proposals for project values of <£1000 to >£30,000 on a regular basis.
