We were standing in the outfield during batting practice at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fl discussing baseball and performance when the coach looked at me sideways and said, "you're out there man."He was right. I am out there. After my professional baseball playing career ended, I was forced to reenter regular life. Emails? I hadn't answered them in a decade. Phone calls? Only if I knew the number on the other end. Responsibilities? For a decade and a half the only important time was when we were mandated to stretch. Microsoft excel? Couldn't help you there. I was thinking about fastballs and weight lifting, scouting reports and making the play-offs.Five years later, things have changed. I've gone from player to executive to mental skills coach since. I finished my undergrad (walked at graduation as a 36 year-old), and on track to finish my master's program in performance psychology in January of 2021. I've been trained in Mindfulness practice and I've fallen in love with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - some people like to golf, I like to wrestle. I'm out there remember!I know how to answer emails and phone calls, and I can even build a table on excel. My passion is performance under pressure in all domains.
