Vice President Human Resources
Current• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.• Align HR strategies and tactics to the organizational strategy. • Act as a consultant on the impact of long range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory action on attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources of the corporation.• Develop staffing strategies, implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside the corporation for critical positions. Identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the company.• Devise different programs addressing customized for different levels. One for effective talent management using succession planning tool, a second for key contributor and management positions, a third for training and development of employees prepared for significant responsibilities and finally a fourth for general business development to enhance employee knowledge and understanding of the business of the company and the industry.• Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets.• Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the corporation. Included in this area but not limited to the following: employee relations, affirmative action, sexual harassment, employee complaints, external education and career development.• Enhance and/or develop and implement e human resources policies and procedures of the organization through human resource information systems database and necessary reports for critical analysis of the HR function and the people resources of the corporation.• Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Human Resources Department.• Evaluation of the HR division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well.
