About John Baseley
It all starts out fine.Your life. The story you have been told in what to you need to do and how you will spend your time.Family, friends, work and everything else. That's how it was for me, starting in the Army for 11 years (which honestly was probably the best thing for a directionless young man), then becoming a Paramedic for 20+ years where I've been truly grateful in having the ability to have reassured, comforted and helped 100's of individual people when they were in need at the worst possible moment of their lives. As time passed though, I found myself questioning many aspects of the work I did, the significance of money in life choices and healthcare, along with other people telling individuals what they could and could not do regarding medical treatments and timeframes. There is a direct link between Healthcare, Money and Time.People spend their time to earn money - then the focus on money was traded for health and relationships (accepting 14hr overtime nightshifts, going on 6 week private contract deployments overseas anyone?) - only having it go full circle needing to spend time with family, but missing out on money by doing so."There has to be a better way.." you ask yourself. This is not sustainable.I personally set out on a path to work back from the end point on where I wanted to be and how I was going to get there. What did I actually want and how do I break this cycle of trading time for money in a World where everything is increasing in cost far beyond what my hourly rate was paying me?This is specifically coming from a place where I had a family to look after, bills to pay, was so far into a career and lifestyle that I couldn't just "Throw it all in." That was NOT an option. I'll tell you right now - It is Hard.Anything of REAL value and worth doing is gong to be difficult. Going to the gym. Training for a Marathon. Starting a business - all these things require time, effort, consistency, planning to have it become a reality. And sometimes the path you take won't work out like you think it will. But it is possible. It can be done.Thinking & doing what everyone else is doing is going to get you what everyone else has.Create a new life for yourself, because if you don't, one will be allocated for you.Regards,John(If some of this has resonated with you, consider signing to my email subscribe list. It won't be spam. I don't "sell" lists. I respect that you have given your trust to me to help you - and I'll do my absolute 100% giving you what worked for me, and what DIDN'T work for me.)
