I have been employed with SA Ambulance Service for the past thirty one years and have occupied a variety of operational roles from Ambulance officer to Special Operations Team Leader and Operations Manager during that time.I have effective leadership skills and have proven my ability to manage staff, provide positive influence, build and manage relationships and collaborate with department managers to implement corporate policy and service provision requirements. My role as Special Operations Manager requires me to work with allied agencies across Government and Private Industry. My continued involvement in the development and execution of multi-agency training programmes in SA Urban Search and Rescue (SAUSAR), State Multi Agency Response Team (SMART) and SAAS REMOTE (Casualty Access) ensures that I have an extensive network of contacts in other agencies and I represent SAAS at a senior level that includes;• State Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (SACBRN) • State Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) • State Search and Rescue (SAR) • State Rescue Helicopter Committee (SRHC) This representation has ensured a thorough understanding of Government administrative and financial procedures relevant to SAAS, SA Health and other services.
