Involving break/fix repairs, software upgrades and reloads, and printer calibration.Now also part of the T-moble field services team, providing service to POS systems and printers, retail portal maintenance, debit readers, cash drawers, and network connectivity at retail locations as well as servicing T-moble Field Engineer's laptops.

TL;DR at the bottom.I started at bass at the bottom disassembling legacy systems for scrap. I quickly moved up the latter. I moved up to refurbishing PCs/Laptops, which included performing a secure wipe of the hard drive, a physical inspection (blown caps, excessive wear), a test load of an OS including all drivers, testing all I/O ports, and overnight 'burn' running Memtest86+. I quickly gained a reputation for proficiency, and quick learning.I then moved to new system building. This included high quantity builds up to 400 systems. These I usually supervised. As a Security Technician at Bass I built and managed Security DVRs, provided email and phone support for security equipment, diagnosed and repaired security equipment including DVRs, IP and analog cameras, and NVRs. As I became proficient at this, I was also tasked to diagnose most items that came through our RMA department, much of which I had never handled before. I utilized online tools and manuals to assist, as well as contacting the product's company.I was also in charge of Quality Assurance of ALL newly built systems that Bass Computers produced. I trained new employees that came to the tech lab. I also provided phone and email support for internal sales reps, giving recommendations and advice about our products.TL;DR:I started at the very bottom at Bass Computers. I quickly gained a reputation of being proficient with my work, and an exceptionally quick learner. I moved up quickly through most departments including: system refurbishing, new system builds (up to 400 systems at a time), then to Security Technician. There I worked with and serviced a wide range of security products, as well as being tasked with diagnosing most products that came through our RMA department (anything from switches to NVRs).
