About John Belcher

I have over 30 years of combined clinical experience in both Emergency Medical Services and organ procurement. I am internally driven to continually improve my clinical skills in order to benefit the patients that I serve.I thoroughly enjoy teaching have been doing so for the better part of my career. I co-led an effort to utilize a high-fidelity human patient simulator to improve the skills of procurement professionals across North America. My particular area of interest is in mechanical ventilation.Over the past several years I have studied leadership both in grad school and on my personal time. I endeavor to utilize these skills in life and when volunteering in non-profit leadership positions. It truly amazes me at what some people consider the true meaning of leadership.I have over 15 years of non-profit board leadership experience within healthcare and outside interests.
