John joined KPMG after gaining a PhD from Cambridge, and has spent the last 20 years working with public companies, and significant private equity backed entities moving towards IPO. He has progressively specialised in the audit of Media and Technology companies, but has also worked in Transaction Services where he focussed on listed companies performing major acquisitions, IPOs and public to private transactions.He was the COO for KPMG Audit for three years, leading a successful service delivery model transformation, and is currently Group CRO responsible for regulatory affairs, legal and all aspects of risk management.Current interests: impact of technology on business models/risk; valuing data flows and understanding their potential; blockchain
