At MAI, the way we attack projects is "from cradle to grave." I begin my work in business development & marketing with a client, and work with them to develop scope of work for which we provide pricing. I coordinate with our staff to devlop project estimates, and review them with the client. Once a proposal is accepted, I work with both the project superintendant (or foreman) and the client to organize & plan the work. While work commences, I continue to interface with both our forces & the client to monitor the progress to assure that we maintain safety, work quality, adherence to project schedule, and overall profitability. I maintain contact with the client to ensure that as needs change during a project we are prepared to adapt in order to provide continued service. At the end of the project, I work with out accounting department to facilitate billing & expedite the payment process to turn around funds as quickly as possible.

My responsibilities with Brycon included estimating, procurement, on-site project support & management, and marketing. One of my main responsibilities in the latter half of my time with Brycon was as account manager overseeing all of our work for Mirant Mid-Atlantic (later known as GenOn, and subsequently NRG), working to acquire & manage all associated work as well a participating in business development.

I was responsible for the development, construction, and maintenance of all testing equipment in the facility. Additionally, I provided training & techincal support to our lab technicians. I also participated in the handling & processing of experimental data to complete test reports & product certifications.
