Manufacturing Supervisor
CurrentInitiate safety improvements activities throughout the filling and packaging areas.Ensure 100% Quality of product sent to customers.Carryout production schedules based on sales demand and/or raw material supply.Maintain and update an accurate inventory of raw materials, oil and packaging supplies.Maintain and update regularly all metrics and KPI’s associated with assigned departments.Participate in hiring new employees based on staffing needs.Perform disciplinary and termination actions as needed.Initiate continuous improvement activities to increase output, improve service level, reduce costs, and/or improve job satisfaction.Ensure all employees are properly trained in their job functions and that procedures and protocols are followed.Conduct or participate in routine training with staff.Assists in timecard adjustments and approvals.Establishes high-performance standards in Housekeeping, GMPs and regulatory guidelines.Ensures product quality establishes and manages systems to achieve "right the first time" performance.Organizes and manages daily production requirements to consistently meet customer expectations.Coaches, teaches and provides opportunities for team members to develop their business, technical, and social skills.Ensures completion of annual performance reviews for team members and provides ongoing performance feedback.Manages financial performance, including budgeting, costing, expense & direct labor tracking, and results feedback.Manages in accordance with company policy and guidelines, treating all team members with dignity, respect, and fairness.Other duties as assignedEssential Skills & AbilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent time-management skills.Resourceful with the ability to develop creative ways to solve problems.High level of attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office and related softwareA self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little oversight.
