Managing Director of a foundation which serves the everyday and special needs of a 24 county region in central and southeast Ohio with operational and capital funding. Funding requests are accepted at any time. Organization seeking funds must be a 501C3 and neither religious or politically motivated. The foundation operates independently from the its electric cooperative - the largest in the state of Ohio and among the Top Ten in the nation. The purpose of the charitable foundation is to accept grant applications, review the requests and award charitable donations through Operation Round Up. The first gifts will be made in 2014.

The Executive DIrector employs and supervises all employees of the Foundation. He shall supervise the foundation's trusts and obligations and scholarships. Furthermore, he shall work in a cooperative manner with the Library Board, Library Director, Theatre Board and Development Director to develop a positive relationship and approve joint ventures with others. The Executive Director acts for and on behalf of the Board of Directors. He establishes current and long range objectives, plans and policies - subject to the approval of the Board. He oversees the adequacy and soundness of the foundation's financial structure. The Executive Director also shall be the spokesperson for the foundation.

The Development Manager is responsible for the external operations of the Foundation that include but not limited to the marketing, public relations and developing a public awareness campaign to reintroduce Wagnalls to the community of Lithopolis, Bloom Township and Fairfield County - all important focuses of the charter for the Foundation as determined by its founder, Mabel Wagnalls Jones, in 1925. Relationships will be established with individuals and organizations who either have or could have an interest in The Wagnalls Memorial. The position will oversee communications with former and current donors, patrons, program participants, scholarship winners, municipal and township officials, local citizens and others. The Foundation is currently in its first full year of the "Legacy Begins . . . Anew" campaign.

The National Kidney Foundation , Inc. is a major voluntary health organization seeking to prevent kidney disease, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by those diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplant. Specifically, the Director has oversight for the Central Ohio Region which includes Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Louisville, Kentucky's development departments and coordination of Division fundraising activities.

The Director is responsible for engaging the university's constituencies and increasing contributions through various fundraising activities. The Director reports to the Vice President of University Advancement and Strategic Relations and works in partnership with Alumni Relations.
