Extensive experience in the management of mechanical assets in heavy industry including alumina , air conditioning, sewerage and water and the power industry. Initiated my grounding in the Royal Australia Navy as a operator / maintainer of steam powered vessels. After leaving the navy I gained experience in the air conditioning industry then went on to achieve a degree in mechanical engineering. I then progressed into the alumina industry specialising in root causes analysis failure and later into the sewerage and water industry as a mechanical design engineer. From here I moved into the Power Industry specialising in pressure equipment asset management progressing into engineering management and now station manager at a hydro power station.My passion is to see mechanical equipment operate at its optimum in all facets and more so, the main asset, the people who maintain and operate these machines to have a strong sense of ownership with a high team morale and safety focus.
