About John Boughey
I’m a Colorado Native working in the Denver area to help cause-driven organizations benefit the world - whether that’s helping schools drive their enrollment, aiding nonprofits in branching out into the digital sphere, or working on campaigns that create positive change in our communities. I’ve worked in broadcast media, digital media, and journalism and have spent my life in the media field. I graduated in May 2022 from the University of Colorado Boulder’s College of Media, Communication and Information. Now, I work with Effct.org to build effective digital campaigns across social media, search engines, and more. Through my work at Effct, I’ve also joined in on ScholarLead, a new parent-relationship management platform designed with schools and educators in mind. Through this platform, the ScholarLead team aspires to make scholar recruitment an easier, time-saving process and aid educators in providing today’s students with the education they need to become tomorrow’s leaders.
