For over 20 years Mr. Brenner has worked in various capacities advising, creating and managing new ventures. As a result he has developed expertise in major aspects of business development including financing, intellectual property, joint ventures, product development, collaborative research, product distribution, material supply and transaction diligence. Mr. Brenner has worked in a wide array of technology areas such as biotech, high tech, ag tech, food tech and 3D metal printing among others. Currently, Mr. Brenner is the Senior Vice President for Intellectual Capital at Dimensional Energy, Inc. Most recently, Mr. Brenner was the Vice President for IP Management & Licensing at Rheonix, Inc. where he was a member of the founding team which spun out of Kionix, Inc. in 2009. Mr. Brenner joined Kionix, Inc. in 2007 as the Vice President of Microfluidics. Along with his role at Rheonix, Mr. Brenner provides advisory services to select clients on a project-by-project basis. Prior to Kioinx, Mr. Brenner was a senior technology manager at Cornell University’s technology licensing office, CTL, where he managed commercialization of drug delivery, diagnostic devices, food science and other analytical inventions developed by Cornell’s research faculty. Mr. Brenner was the founder and president of Aureus Inc., specializing in financial and organizational solutions for technology-based companies. Mr. Brenner is a member of the Licensing Executives Society since 1999 and he was among the first class of Certified Licensing Professionals. Mr. Brenner holds a B.S. in plant science from the University of New Hampshire, an M.S. in science education from Syracuse University and an MBA from Cornell University.
