Employment has been from school to the MOD for 16 years - growing from gaining indentured apprenticeship in electrical engineering to engineer to first line management. Following this after taking voluntary redundancy I went in to 7 months as a facilities management service engineer on the electrical side whereby I discovered a liking for the controls element of HVACI was then offered an opportunity to take on a service engineers role in a controls company which I accepted, and after a few years was promoted to a commissioning engineer and then promoted again to a project manager where I was recently made redundant I have since (September 2019) moved to Scotland to live with my long term partner and am now starting my new role back in the trade I started as an electrical foreman.
