To lead the Renewable Energy & Resources’ team in commercial negotiations, procurement, acquisition, optimisation and management of the company’s renewable energy & resource portfolio (renewable wind. solar, hydro and batteries) and low emissions firming gas. The key responsible of the role is to lead the commercial team to secure and manage the supply of renewable energy and low emmission resources to underpin CleanCo’s retail business and low emissions generating assets by negotiating and managing commercially advantageous upstream renewable and low emmission resource agreements and developing and managing CleanCo strategic joint venture asset of Kogan North and associated compression, pipeline and water assets. The Group Manager – Renewable Energy & Resources is responsible for a number of key objectives:1. Negotiating long term Renewable Power Purchase and Capacity Agreements and contract management for on supply to our retail customers2. The supply of energy (gas and water) to existing generating assets; and3. Optimisation of energy resources to maximise gross profit with the aim of ensuring optimal returns on CleanCp's portfolio of energy assets.3. Delivery of commercial projects within the Customer & Energy Market's team which has a focus on resource optimisation but may include both physical and financial derivative contracts
