Responsible for establishing the Infrastructure Capacity Management practices at LBrands. Primary duties for this position include tracking, analyzing, reporting, and forecasting capacity levels of various Infrastructure realms including server, storage, network and database infrastructure capacities, with an initial focus on compute and storage in the Open Systems Virtualized VMWare Infrastructure. Responsible for determining future needs for expansion or reclamation of infrastructure capacities based on projected demand and growth.

Assisting with Data Center Relocation at ComAir as a contract employee.

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the HP-UX and Linux systems and security. Responsibilities include: HP/9000 PA-RISC and Integrity/BL8xx BladeSystems, ComPaq ProLiant/bl4xx Blades and server configuration design, hardware deployment, and system hardening. Network vulnerability scanning. Data Center backup design and implementation. Network core services (DNS/DHCP/LDAP/Sendmail/Proxy) design and implementation. Fibre-Channel SAN design and implementation. Ignite/UX disaster recovery backups. LDAP Integration. DataProtector backup of a hetrogenious environment (HP-UX, Windows, and Linux). Review system vulnerability scans and form remediation plans.

System administrator for the manufacturing HP-UX and DEC/VAX computing systems at the Columbus Production Center Operations. Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the VAX/VMS and HP-UX systems, including VAX 4300, VAXstation 3100, MicroVAX II, and HP/9000-300 workstation platforms. Responsibilities have included: VMS tuning, FORTRAN programming, Unigraphics II software installation and maintenance, VMS operating system software upgrades, network communication management (DecNet, TCP/IP), numerical control programming and sheet metal manufacturing software installation and support, UNIX "C" and shell programming, and X/Windows configuration.
