• Site Services Manager for an 8 billion dollar grass roots oil sands mining and process facilities, located in Alberta, Canada. o Organized and managed a services group consisting of 6 direct reports and over 40 team members, conducting and managing site wide support services for the projects entire infrastructure. • EPC Project initiation & construction mobilization; design and construct a 1.2-billion-dollar petroleum refinery HCU expansion. o Conducted engineering constructability reviews, establishing construction and mobilization schedules, developed temporary power & facility infrastructure requirements. o Work directly with project team to coordinate and develop project specific operational procedures, organizational requirements and subcontract bid packages.• Assigned to Marathon’s 3.4-billion-dollar oil refinery expansion as Construction Management over scaffolding activities, which were supported by some 1000 employees, providing scaffolding service to over 7000 construction workers.o Developed and delivered real time data analysis which identified areas of productivity and schedule restraints. OF ENGINEERS (Multi-Functional Manager, Iraq Operations)• GRN Regional Manager for life support services for the USACE Northern Operations.Project Manager for US Government (FAR) Contracts to restore and commission 39 diesel powered generators across 8 site locations, providing 40mw to the northern Iraqi power grid, • Site Management and commissioning of a mission critical C4 Communication & Data Center Complex.o Exceeding expectations in challenging and hostile environments under seemingly impossible conditions while successfully completing project assignments. Received the 2004 Hugh K. Coble Award for accomplishments in power generation and restoration. (GRN Iraq operations)

• As related to organizational and operational development processes; delivered project management and consulting services for LLC Joint Venture Company, during the implementation and construction phases of a 200MW grass roots power generation project;

• Responsible for EPC phases of a $285M, single shaft 500MW gas and steam turbine power generation project. A client facing manager responsible for P&L and contractual compliance..o Initiated and led efforts, which were instrumental in the projects union labor workforce achievement of over 1M “safe man-hours” without a lost time incident.o Developed a cost management application which enabled real-time cost forecasting and trending data, identified and categorized cost drivers which produced analytical information necessary to resolve reoccurring cost overruns and interfaced directly with the existing reporting structure.

• Primarily responsible for all E/I&C subcontracts during the design and construction of a $500M recycle steel mill. o Initiation of bid packages, bidder selection, bid evaluation and award of subcontracts, negotiated changes, reviewed and approved progress payments, schedule reviews and field coordination.o Spearheaded efforts and worked directly with third party consultants to re-structure the project schedule which successfully supported, previously jeopardized, contractual completion dates.

• Managed MEP team coordination efforts, methods and practices during design and the build clean construction of Siemens/Motorola $350M state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing and research facility. o Reviewed and approved bid documents and contract proposals for all MEP subcontracts. o Served as Subcontract Manager for installation of the facilities Automated Control Systems. o Developed and implemented an automated document control database, which minimized engineering efforts, substantially reducing document control cost and staffing needs while providing an accurate and timely document distribution process.

• Managed technical support services and personnel during the construction, commissioning and closeout of a $290M power generation project. o Developed and implemented a project controls database that provided a direct management interface application for cost forecasting and trending which reduced potentials for overruns and related schedule delay impacts.

• Management and coordination responsibilities for site engineering staff during design build and close-out phases of two power generation facilities, valued over $120M. o Subcontract coordination, communication, scheduling, submittal reviews, billing approvals and change order negotiations.o Managed minority sub-contractors business operations which negated legal implication. o Developed and initiated a designed an equipment cross-reference database which reduced engineering errors, identified deficiencies between design groups and provided critical data which facilitated operational time/cost improvements with purchasing and receiving efforts.
