Dr. John T. Carlo, MD, is a distinguished public health physician and healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience. As the CEO of Prism Health North Texas, he has overseen the organization's remarkable growth from two to seven healthcare center locations, serving over 15,000 patients annually with a team of 35 licensed professionals across medicine, dentistry, and behavioral health. Dr. Carlo's leadership and passion for improving the health of diverse communities have been instrumental in enhancing resilience against emerging public health threats in North Texas.Dr. Carlo has played a pivotal role in responding to major public health crises, including his leadership on the Texas Medical Association's COVID-19 Task Force and his significant contributions to the public health response during the 2014 Ebola case in Dallas. His expertise in public health preparedness is recognized nationally, strengthened by his 17-year affiliation with the Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey, CA.In addition to his work with Prism Health North Texas, Dr. Carlo has held numerous leadership positions in key medical organizations.
