Responsible for leading a team of HGV drivers and agency staff in a new distribution centre. Creating new working practices to improve health and safety standards and increase performance.

• Accountable for leading a team of 60+ drivers and their daily performance, monitoring driving styles using Microlise and Isotrak.• Efficiently executing regional transport plan on a day to day basis making live changes in a fast paced environment to maintain service levels. • Responsible for performance management, return to work interviews, disciplinary & grievance and accident investigations.• Motivating colleagues to strive for continuous improvement, challenging areas for improvement whilst recognising and rewarding team success.• Responsible for KPI’s and all commercial targets.

General administration duties and preparing reports for senior management using Microsoft office.
