I am currently Head of Mediations for TIDES training. I currently manage some of the biggestMediation contracts here in NI. I also still practice Mediation and have a wealth of experience in the mediation field and currently work on Neighbourhood cases which are on the rise due to restrictions that society has found itself in to due to current COVID outbreak. I have also been involved in mediation's here in NI around Parades, Flags, Bonfires, and other community tensions for some of the major Statuary agencies around these and other issues. I have also worked on the UNDP programme bringing ex-combatants from conflicts around the world to showcase some of the good work that goes on here in NI. I have been involved in Mediation's over the last decade and have a real interest in Mediation and it's benefits to wider society for giving them the power to make informed choices for themselves rather than someone else coming in and doing it for them. I also manage a team of round 30 Mediators directing them to areas where mediation has been requested. I also train and work with would be mediators getting them their accreditation and some live first hand practice on cases where possible. I have also been involved on Conflict transformation for over 20 years and that is what started myself on the road to mediation. I also have a keen interest in doing international mediation especially in the USA.I am currently running programmes in Kosovo involving training international participants in Conflict Resolution and Mediation.
