As a senior member of the GrabOne development team I was responsible for development and maintenance of the GrabOne platform of sites, based on PHP/Symfony/MySQL. This role included DevOps tasks such as release management and out of hours support. I also took a leading role in mentoring junior developers, code reviews and knowledge sharing.

• As one of the senior engineers in the company I played a lead role in a variety of development projects. I was also one of the go-to people for technical product knowledge & support for the development and sysadmin.
• Developed a SQL-like query parser implemented using C, C++ and Yacc/Lex, providing a powerful and flexible means of querying Telemetry's custom database.
• Helped develop and maintain a data pipeline capable of processing tens of thousands of ad impressions per second (C, C++, PHP, MySql).
• A large portion of the back-end of the Telemetry Gateway and Telemetry Journal reporting systems (PHP, MySql).
• Built & maintained a multi-platform (Debian, Ubuntu, Mac OSX) CI system using Hudson (aka Jenkins) to generate Debian packages for application deployment.
• Played a major role in a successful migration of live data processing systems between London and San Francisco datacentres.

I worked on variety of projects within the chip design validation team, simulating and testing various subsystems of the DMS-02 multimedia chip and its predecessors.This included creating bespoke test programs to functionally validate the chip hardware architecture and design, as well as coding of C++ models of the hardware specification used by the team.
