I was also one of the go-to people for technical product knowledge & support for the development and sysadmin teams, as well as acting as a mentor for junior developers.Key achievements:• Developed a SQL-like query parser implemented using C, C++ and Yacc/Lex, providing a powerful and flexible means of querying Telemetry's custom database.• Helped develop and maintain a data pipeline capable of processing tens of thousands of ad impressions per second (C, C++, PHP, MySql).• A large portion of the back-end of the Telemetry Gateway and Telemetry Journal reporting systems (PHP, MySql).• Built & maintained a multi-platform (Debian, Ubuntu, Mac OSX) CI system using Hudson (aka Jenkins) to generate Debian packages for application deployment.• Played a major role in a successful migration of live data processing systems between London and San Francisco datacentres.
