Planning for instruction 1) Assess the needs of individual pupils and plan an appropriateprogram of individualized instruction 2) Provide individualized or small group instruction to pupils whoselimitations have resulted in marked academic retardation b. Keep concise anecdotal records on each pupil, his physical and/or emotionaland intellectual disability, the plan of remedial instruction, and the results ofthe plan c. Instructional techniques 1) Prepare instructional materials for students having a relativelywide grade level span 2) Adapt methods and devices to make subject matter understandableto the autistic pupil. Adapt classroom environment to meet needs of pupils 3) Assist pupils with personal care and physical problems when suchproblems require a teacher's attention
