I am a lifelong educator who enjoys sharing his knowledge with the world. My passion as a child was always to help others. As I became older, I knew that teaching was the route I wanted to follow. I am currently a Fifth-Sixth Grade Moderate/Severe Autism teacher for Fresno Unified School District. In the past, I worked as a Bilingual Instructional Aide, supporting EL Hmong students. I worked as a BIA for 4-5 years before I started working with SPED students. I was a paraprofessional for 6 years for 3 different Autism classes, with students ages ranging from 3-12 years old. I also coached JV tennis at the high school level for 2 years; I then moved to become the Head Coach of a middle school for two years at Clovis Unified School District. I see myself as someone whose open-minded and easy to get along with. As an athlete growing up, I played many team sports; I've taken some of the lessons I've learned from them and applied them to my personal and professional life. I feel that I am a great teammate who can adapt to the changes around me and play any role that is expected of me. Outside of work and school, I love playing tennis. It's a sport I started playing in sixth grade and into high school. I continue to play it now with a group of friends who are as devoted to the game as I am. Outside tennis, much of my time is spent with family, including my 2-year-old son and my lovely wife of 8 years. Some of our favorite things doing together are making memories. This can include hiking, beaches, theme parks, and traveling.
