Web DeveloperRaytheon 1996 - 2006Designed and developed a LAMP based web portal system centered on a document management system and link management system to support 250 employees on a contract. Also designed and built a LAMP based Discrepancy Reporting systems that allowed for tracking and closure of issues. The DR System is used in two different NASA facilities with different approval processes. Developed a Training Management System to track between 600 and 900 Certifications per month. Developed several more smaller applications. All these systems were integrated into the portal system which was the common backbone and could track user information tied to group and management information so that the portal could automatically tailor its outputs to meet the end users needs. Because of these systems the contract was awarded ISO certifications and the training management system was specifically called out for spotlight by the ISO auditors as an exceptional capability for the contract. -
Academic Computer Lab SupervisorUniversity Of Houston - Clear Lake Sep 1992 - Sep 1996Supervised thirteen lab techs to support students and faculty in two distance learning classrooms, four computer classrooms of 25 workstations each and a computer lab environment with 250 Macintosh and Windows based PCs. My lab techs and I were responsible for assisting students and faculty with computer software and hardware in the classrooms and the computer lab. We were also responsible for software and hardware maintenance on all Macintosh workstations during the semesters and OS and software reconfigurations during the semester breaks. Special emphasis on customer support. Our team turned the labs from a place of dread into a place to come to get the help people needed. Lab received many cudos from students and faculty.
