i was originally hired by Grossmont district hospital public sector hospital june 23 1979 a 450 bed capacity hired in Environmental services admoonistrator Ron Dalghren. unions were at Grossmont hospital governed by the Brown meyers act law . unac for the nurses and opieu international local 30 from 1977 to 1991. may 31 1991 sharp healthcare affiliation merged with grossmont hospital as a private sector. michael Erne Ceo adminostrator from 1985 to 1994. michelle Tarbet Ceo admininstrator from 1994. to 2014. june 23 1996 all nurses became unionized at six sharp hospitals including sharp grossmont hospital with united nurses of california asscioation unacafsmce uhhce afl cio. 1996 engineers of plant and maintenance became unized at sharp grossmont hospital and in 1999. environmental services and food and nutritional services became unionized at sharp grossmont hospital. 1996 to 1997 sharp healthcare outsourced anncillary departments environmental services food and nutritional services and plant operations maintenance enginneers to Marriott health care services for a five year contract. for all six sharp hospitals including sharp grossmont hospital. then in 1997 sodexo marriott merged together for all three annciliary departments at sharp grossmont hospital and the six aharp hospitals. in 2003 sodexo alliance usa took over the sharp grossmont hospital and six sharp hospitals of the three anncilary dept which is Food and nutritional service and environmental services and plant and operations maintenance engineering. today 2016 sodexo still is sharps outsourcing company. in 2004. the expansion of the new E.r. tower which includes the new sicu and micu units. E.r. tower has 5 floors. I have left Sharp grossmont hospital Nov 5 2012 for progressive. transformation of change of better economically and career opportunities
